Tara has dedicated over 19 years to her career as an occupational therapist, specialising in child development and mental health in both public and private sectors. She is passionate about collaborating with families and helping children thrive through a variety of creative and evidence-based methods. Tara also loves working with her golden retriever Indi, and supporting other rural occupational therapists by providing supervision and mentoring. Tara holds additional qualifications in rural practice, animal-assisted therapy, autism assessment (ADOS-2), and group interventions like Secret Agent Society. She has also undergone specialised training in sensory modulation, family therapy, and trauma-informed approaches.
